🍁 The Season of Becoming

October is the season of transformation —

a bridge between what was and what’s next.

 

October carries a certain quiet power.  It’s the season between the doing and the dreaming — a bridge between transformation and rest.

The trees have released their leaves, the air feels softer, and nature invites us to pause.  Not to rush into the next thing, but to let everything we’ve learned settle in.

 

🌅 The Morning After

The morning after a workshop or group hike always feels a little different to me.  There’s still an echo of laughter and conversation, a warmth that lingers in my chest.

The day before is all energy — guiding, connecting, sharing stories, and holding space for others’ discoveries.  But the next morning is where the real magic happens.

As I sip my coffee, I replay moments in my mind — a woman who found her voice again, someone who rediscovered courage, another who softened into stillness.  I can feel the energy settling, not fading, but integrating.

That quiet morning after reminds me that growth doesn’t only happen in the doing — it deepens in the stillness that follows.

 

🚴‍♀️ The Off-Season Lesson

If you're an active person, you know that progress doesn’t happen during the event or the workout — it happens in the recovery.  The rest days are where strength is built, tissues repair, and the body grows stronger.

The same is true for life.  The pause between our efforts is what allows wisdom to take root.   Without it, we stay in motion but miss the meaning.

We live in a world that celebrates hustle and output, but this time of year reminds us that being is just as valuable as doing.  The becoming happens when we breathe, reflect, and allow our inner work to integrate.

 

🌿 BodyMind Reflection
